Ashley Tonner Project Engineer
Ashley Tonner, 24, from Stockton, studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Leicester and joined Nifco in summer 2014 as a Project Engineer.
‘Nifco is a really supportive employer, and with their help I have not only been able to gain a degree, but to progress my career. They work hard to keep their employees happy, and this means that, as a team, we work even harder to keep our customers happy too. It really is great to be part of such a successful team.’
Sarah Turnbull, from Hartburn, has worked at Nifco for 13 years, and was recently supported by the company to complete a Business Management degree at Teesside University, passing with First Class Honours.
‘Nifco is a great place to work, and I have gained some really good experience while working here. I definitely feel like I am ready for the world of work, as I near the end of my apprenticeship with the company.’
Ewan Sorby, Trainee Accountant
Ewan Sorby, 18, from Ingleby Barwick, is completing an apprenticeship at Stockton Riverside College, working in Nifco’s busy finance department.
‘Nifco is a really encouraging place to work. I was recently offered a new role, so it is great to be progressing and gaining wider exposure and understanding of the business. The new role offers a broader remit and greater opportunity to interact with customers, so it’s a really exciting step for me.’
Amey Kandalgaonkar – Project Engineer
Amey Kandalgaonkar lives in Darlington, and works at Nifco as a Project Engineer. He joined Nifco after completing a Masters Degree in Business Management.
